Case study · Concept build

Shoe Runner: a sneaker store with a 3D hero, built for Algeria.

A concept store for running and everyday shoes, sold across Algeria with cash on delivery. A small catalogue only works if every pair feels chosen, so the store opens on a sneaker you can spin in 3D and keeps ordering to about a minute.

The project

Six pairs, one minute to order.

01

The brief

Sell a short, curated range of sneakers to Algerian shoppers who pay in cash and will not create an account to buy one pair. The store has to feel like a brand rather than a marketplace, and make choosing a size and ordering effortless.

02

Strategy

Lead with one hero product and a reason to stay: an interactive 3D sneaker in three colourways. Then a lineup of six pairs, a pair of the season, and the three promises Algerian buyers check first: cash on delivery, delivery to all 58 wilayas and no account needed. Sizes 37 to 46 are shown before anyone opens a product.

03

Design

A light, editorial look with oversized type, outlined lettering, generous white space and clean product photography, so a small catalogue feels deliberate. Every card shows the categories and the price in dinars, nothing more.

04

Development

WooCommerce with cash on delivery as the only payment method, guest checkout, a direct Purchase button on each product, size buttons from 37 to 46 and a 3D model viewer in the hero. Search opens from the header with Ctrl K.

05

Mobile

On a phone, the 3D sneaker, the headline and both calls to action share the first screen, and the colourway switch stays within thumb reach.

06

Deliverables

A complete store: home, shop, collection and category pages, six product pages, bag and checkout, plus story and contact pages.

Pages

A closer look.

When the catalogue is small, every pair has to look chosen. The 3D hero earns the attention, the delivery promises earn the order.
