Case study · Concept build

Lumière: a fine jewelry store for Algeria and France.

A concept store for an imagined jewelry house in Algiers, working in 18K rose gold and natural diamonds. Pieces run from 890 € to 7,450 €, so every page has to earn its price with detail, care and payment options that feel safe in two very different markets.

The project

Luxury prices, two markets, one store.

01

The brief

Create a jewelry house from scratch and make it believable at its price. The store sells to two audiences at once: customers in Algeria who expect to pay on delivery, and customers in France who pay by card and expect an insured parcel.

02

Strategy

Every price is shown twice, in euros and in dinars, with cash on delivery stated beside the Algerian price. The catalogue stays small on purpose: twelve named pieces, sorted by type and into three collections, Celestial, Signature and Forever, so a gift buyer and a bride each have an obvious way in.

03

Design

A dark editorial look with a serif display face, rose gold accents and large close-up imagery. Product pages read like a jeweller talking: the stone, the setting, how the piece moves and how to wear it.

04

Development

WooCommerce with a dual-currency price on every piece, cash on delivery for Algeria, card logos and insured express delivery for France, product search, a newsletter with a welcome code, and pages for new arrivals and best sellers.

05

Trust & detail

Delivery, returns, care and warranty answers sit on every product page, and the footer leads to a ring size guide, care and warranty pages, a FAQ and a journal with buying guides. A demo notice makes clear that nothing is sold.

06

Deliverables

A complete concept store: home, shop, category and collection pages, twelve product pages, cart and checkout, plus story, personalization and help pages.

Pages

A closer look.

Expensive products sell on detail. If the page cannot describe the stone, the setting and the care, nobody trusts the price.
